Delivery
As we generally do not hold stock, our policy is to drop ship to
our customers. Because of this, our standard delivery charge is
usually £10 per supplier, per order, but this depends on the
distributor/vendor from which we are ordering the item so is
subject to change.
Your order will be sent by our distributor's courier of choice.
If you are not there when they deliver, they will either leave your
goods with reception or return them to the depot where they will be
dispatched again the next working day. If the courier is unable to
deliver the order on 2 separate occasions the items will be
returned to the warehouse.
Where do you deliver to?
We can usually deliver to all areas of mainland UK and Northern
Ireland for our standard delivery charge; however some items may
incur an additional charge for Northern Ireland and Scottish
Highlands. Please request a price for delivery outside the UK.
How quickly do you deliver?
If stock is available, our standard delivery time is 3 to 5 working
days for orders within the UK and Europe. For orders outside the
UK, individual delivery times will apply.
What if I order more than one item?
If you order more than one item, we will try and ensure a complete
dispatch to keep costs low, however if we have to order from
various suppliers your order may arrive in a number of boxes.
Do I need to sign for the delivery?
Yes. POD information is vital so a signature will be required.
Can I ask for a specific delivery time?
We can usually secure before 10.30 or before noon deliveries,
however we're dependent on the couriers and therefore cannot
absolutely guarantee delivery at a specific time.
What about Saturday delivery?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer Saturday deliveries.
Returns
Damaged items
Very occasionally, and despite our best efforts, items can
become damaged in transit. Please make sure you contact us within
48 hours of the delivery taking place to notify us of any
damages.
Faults and warranties
All our products have a manufacturer's warranty. Faults
are very rare, but if you consider an item to be faulty please
contact us for a returns material authorisation number (RMA#). We
will issue you with an RMA Request Form which will need to be
completed as fully as possible and faxed back to us on 0845 862
1383 or emailed to returns@thinstore.net. If
we identify that the product serial number is out of warranty or
the product has been damaged in such a way that warranty no longer
applies, the product will be treated as a non-warranty repair. If
the product is deemed within warranty, the request will be assessed
and an RMA number issued.
Returned goods must arrive back with us in the original box with
all the documentation, power supplies and peripherals issued with
the unit included. The box must then be placed inside another
box/bag with the RMA form and an address label on the exterior.
The address to which they should be returned depends on the
supplier and will be provided with the RMA number. We may sometimes
ask you to return an item direct to the manufacturer and we will
advise you regarding this when you contact us for the returns
number.
It is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of
goods and we recommend that they are sent via an insured and signed
for service.
In most cases, the product will be sent back to you directly
from our repair centre once it has been repaired. If the product
was within warranty, the return carriage will not involve any
further costs to you as long as the return was found to be faulty.
If the product was out of warranty or fault free, the return
carriage will be at your expense.
If you have any questions regarding your repair please contact
us on 0800 8620202 or email returns@thinstore.net and
quote your returns authorisation number.
Evaluation units
