Microsoft announced that a major agreement with the British
Educational Communications & Technology Agency (BECTA) that
will enable UK schools to acquire and use the most up-to-date
Microsoft software at reduced rate.
How the Agreement works:

less from 1 January 2004. This saving should be passed on to you as
a direct price reduction from your supplier.

- The discounts are applicable to Academic Select and Academic
Schools agreement but not Academic Open.
